Getting Here

Being in the heart of Maroochydore, the CBD for the Sunshine Coast, you’ve got loads of options to get to and from MMVAF again this year.

Our home is the new Maroochydore city centre site, the former Horton Park Golf Course. The entry to the festival is the same as last year via DALTON DRIVE, not Golf Street.

Dalton Drive, Maroochy Boulevard and Maude Street will be traffic hotspots on a busy Saturday in Maroochydore, now home to Bunnings and Officeworks. We all know how popular these businesses are on a Saturday, and there will be measures in place to ensure that these areas are kept business as usual for customers, residents and all of our awesome neighbours.

There is no parking anywhere along Dalton Drive, so please avoid this high demand area. Think ahead and catch a bus in, or get dropped around the corner and stroll to the entrance to avoid the headache, and the heartache, of missing your favourite band.

And while we will have a well-lit, secure taxi rank, we all know getting a taxi is no sure thing and standing in a queue at the end of an amazing day is even worse.  Jump on a pre-purchased bus, ride your pushie or get picked up.

BUSES & SHUTTLES

BUS TICKETS GO OFF SALE 9PM FRIDAY 9TH SEPTEMBER

The best way to enter and exit the Festival is on one of our four direct bus routes or 2-hour continuous bus shuttles back to Maroochy Town Centre. This year we will be holding true to our promise that if you don't have a ticket/bus wristband you will not be able to get on a bus. So don't end your night on a low with no place to go. All bus tickets must be pre-purchased via Oztix.

BUS TICKET/WRIST BANDS - The only way to get on the party bus home

GETTING HERE:
Your OZTIX pre-purchased Bus E-ticket will allow you to hop on the bus to get to the Festival.

GOING HOME:
ON entry your OZTIX pre-purchased Bus E Ticket will be swiped, recorded and given a second BUS wristband that will easily identify you as a BUS TICKET holder for the way home.
So join the express bus holder entry lanes into the festival!

Our No Bullshit buses boast the option of alternate pick up and drop off location flexibility, depending on whether you decide to party on or go home.

WALKING & PUSHIES

The Maroochydore Bus Station, Ocean Street taxi rank and the active Maroochydore Town Centre are an easy 20-minute walk from Dalton Drive. A great place to park and meander on down to Dalton Drive.

If you're lucky enough to be able to hit the pushie down the MMVAF, we have moved the bike rank to right at the entry gate for added security and first-class parking.

Lights and helmets riders!  And please remember responsible alcohol consumption – under .05 (just like driving a car).

DRIVING & PARKING

Parking spaces are very limited, so we recommend you get in quick. Our grassy, well-drained carpark will open at 9.30am. No parking is available anywhere along Dalton Drive, so please avoid this high demand area.
Car parks can be accessed from Maroochy Boulevard via Sunrise Drive. Car pass tickets are on sale now via Oztix. Pre-purchase passes for $10, or pay $15 at the gate, if there's any left...

PUBLIC TRANSPORT

Maroochydore Bus Station is the main intercharge for the Sunshine Coast. Wherever you’re coming from, get to this station and catch our cheap return shuttle bus to the festival.

Phone Translink for information and timetables at 13 12 30 or hit up their journey planner here to check out public bus and train times.

TAXIS

Suncoast Cabs are alerting their team and aiming to get you swiftly to your destination, as soon as they can. We recommend you plan ahead and use their app available here to book your taxi. However, with up to ten thousand punters arriving to and from Maroochydore Saturday September 10, we all know they'll be pumping, and queuing is always going to be inevitable. Don't take the chance: jump on a bus or get picked up, and future-you will thank you later.

PICK UP & DROP OFFS

We'll be providing a drop off / pick up bay close to the festival site, however Dalton Drive, Maroochy Boulevard, and Maude Street will be traffic hotspots on a busy Saturday in Maroochydore. Get dropped around the corner and walk to the site to avoid the headache, and the heartache, of missing your favourite band. Spots will be advised closer to the festival date.

AIRPORTS

Our nearest and dearest airport is the Sunshine Coast Airport. QANTAS, Jetstar, Virgin Australia and Air New Zealand fly into Maroochydore:

QANTAS - qantas.com.au (13 13 13)
Jetstar - jetstar.com (131 538)
Virgin Australia - virginaustralia.com (13 67 89)
Air New Zealand - airnewzealand.com.au (13 24 76)

The Sunshine Coast Airport is only a 15 minute drive from the festival, with plenty of transfer companies to help get you to your accommodation.  Perfect ease to bump in and out for a weekend of that glorious sun, surf, and sand the Sunshine Coast is so well known for.

Brisbane Airport services our fair city Brisbane, and is only approx. 1.5 hour drive.

HELIPAD

We don't have a helipad as such... but maybe we could work something out? We love a spectacular entrance. Get in touch x
